Step 1:Clean
First the tattoo area need to be cleaned , wipe the tattoo area with pure water or distilled water, wipe it as many times as possible, and then remove the body surface hair, if not, when the tattoo machine work,it will be easily bring these body hairs into the skin together. And it can lead to inflammation and other conditions later, so this step is very important.
Step 2: Disinfect
Every time a tattoo machine injects a drop of ink into the skin,it will penetrate the skin. Each needle has the potential to cause infection and disease transmission. Therefore, before using the tattoo supplies, the tattoo machine should be disinfected with a sterilizer to prevent infection. Many tattoo supplies, such as inks, ink cups, gloves, tips and needles are disposable, and tattooists should also wash their hands and check for hand wounds or abrasions.
Use medical alcohol to wipe more times on the part to be tattooed, and then thoroughly disinfect the tattoo needle. In principle, the tattoo needles we use are preferably disposable, but if they need to be reused under special circumstances, they must be thoroughly disinfected. After more than 30 minutes of high-temperature disinfection, wipe the tattoo needles with alcohol cotton before use.
Step 3:Transfer or Draw
If you are good at painting, you can paint or tattoo directly on the disinfected skin.If your art skills are not so solid, or want to save time in tattooing, you can use transfer technology(transfer paper;LED tracing light box)in this step, which is very convenient.
Step 4:Liner
This is a very important part of tattoo, and the liner must be as smooth and complete as possible. With RL needles and ink,the tattoo artist draws permanent lines on the stencil. Most tattooists start drawing up from the lower right corner to avoid soiling the transfer pattern when the excess ink on the permanent lines is wiped off.
Step 5:Shader
After the liner is completed, it is colored, called shader, and more pin headers are used to fill the color of the tattoo according to the pattern. This is a long process and an important step in the tattooing process. Some colored tattoos will need to be colored with black ash before the color is colored, in order to make the pattern thicker and better.
Step 6:Bandage
After removing the blood with a disposable towel, the tattoo artist wraps the tattoo with a sterile bandage. It often bleeds during the tattooing process, but stops after a few minutes.
As for the degree of pain in a tattoo, some people describe the feeling of drawing a tattoo as being stinged, sun-drenched, or squeezed; some people feel itchy or slightly like a needle on the skin. The individual's tolerance for pain, the size of the tattoo, the location of the tattoo, and the skill of the tattoo artist determine the pain the tattooer has to bear. Usually the skin just above the bone is more sensitive and the pain is more intense.
