'Ink Not Mink' Campaign

You must have heard People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). But did you know a campaign named "INK NOT MINK" organized by PETA? Many celebrities took part in it.

Thousands of minks, squirrels, rabbits, and foxes are farmed and killed in order to obtain their fur. These animals are often cultured in dirty, narrow environments, with up to 25% dying from respiratory or other diseases due to that.

Those surviving animals will eventually be stripped of their skins by electric shock, drowning or knocking. Many animals are only fainted by great harm and are not killed completely. They are actually alive when they are peeled. In order to get better fur, some animals are peeled when they are alive.
Since it is possible to create highly simulated synthetic fake furs, we do not need to kill them in order to obtain their skin. So let us refuse the fur.
